Here is the latest construction update for the Integrated Center for Math and Science:
- Concrete floor slabs are going to be poured in sections twice a week for the next several weeks.
- Structural steel work has stopped for now, but will resume on August 1 when the roof framing begins.
- Construction on the retaining wall at the west side of the building will begin next week.
- Fireproofing of the steel and framing of the exterior walls will also start next week.
A campus-wide electrical shutdown is scheduled for Saturday, August 6. We are expecting this to last for up to 12 hours. Construction updates will continue to be posted here.
